Some projects that I have been working on that I may need help with. · 10:34pm Dec 31st, 2013
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone on this site for their friendly welcome of me. I've been working on stories for quite some time and I am glad to see that Equestrian Wars has been well received. But besides working on Equestrian wars, there has been one project I have been working on that I really wanna start very soon. While I still haven't figured out a title for it the setting is sort of a combination between Fallout, Mad Max, and System Shock. The story revolves around a human man who wakes up in a healing chamber with no memory of who he is or how he got there. The only hint of his identity is a military dog tag he finds called Reynard Ripley. He enters into a post apocalyptic landscape where humans and ponies are living in complete misery after pony and human kind destroyed each other with powerful weapons. He teams up with a little orphaned filly named Tiny Tail and armed with only a rifle and pistol and a few clothes, they embark on an adventure to find any signs of civilized society and recover Reynard's memories. I wish to start it soon, but the problem is this is a big project and I'm afraid I don't know if I could handle it by myself. While the main story is created by me, I am simply asking if anyone would be interesting in helping me with ideas. Thank you!
For example "Mad Max and the Thunder Dome" has the characters name and a suspenseful part of the movie in the tittle. Maybe You should find a main part/or place of the story and mane it after it? "Super 8" is a movie about an alien trying to find his way home, but Super 8 is a name of a movie festival that the main characters wanted to win. hardly any relation, but it works. Write out some of your story, read and brainstorm on the main plot, portag/antag, and Cities. A Title is just an attention grabber, think of something nice and eye grabbing.
