Trust me, I have good reason! · 8:35pm Dec 31st, 2013
I'm not late because I forgot, or anything silly like that, but for a trio of reasons! The first, chronologically, was that I wanted to give another preview of Tales of an Unquiet Equestria with this update. As you will later discover, I still haven't finished it yet, so it's not included this week. Then, yesterday, it happened to be my birthday! Which was nice, and really fun and all, but it did hurt my productivity a bit, and I didn't really get anything done. Also, in the evening, I was out drinking with a friend to celebrate my arrival into adulthood, which is usually prime blog-writing time. Then, I realised that erhaps today would be a good day anyway, as it's the last one of the year. So hey, here we go! I shan't be updating this blog until next year! etc...
Seriously though, this year's been nice to me, on the most part. There isn't a great deal that I'd complain about, aside from possibly some of my results, but other than that, I've had a good time of it. Social acceptance, A fire in His Heart and a bunch of animes and stuff that have brightened up my thoughts happened too, and I got a brand new watch for my birthday! Not to mention Pokémon Y, which, as it turns out, is amazing. So, you know, great stuff!
And for new year's resolutions... I think... I think mine will be to try and motivate myself to work harder, and create more. Improve and hone the skills I have. We'll have to see how well I manage that.
Do you guys have any resolutions? If you're willing to share, I'm eager to hear.
Until next year, guys!
World Dominations always on my list , one day perhap

Good luck, man!
It's great to hear your birthday and most of the year in fact have ended on such good notes. Let's hope 2014 will take the follow a similar trend and prove even better for you.
Pokemon Y is a fun game. The story is a little slow at first, and could have been worked out a lot better, but towards the end it really managed to draw me in and actually get quite intense to the point I just had to keep playing to find out what would happen next. For a pokemon game, that's a rare experience in the midst of the usual collecting, training and battling.
As for new year's resolutions. Keeping my job would be a good one. Saving up for a trip to the US perhaps. Most importantly though I'll attempt to join you in becoming more productive after work, get back into sketching and artwork and generally improve my 3D skills.
I'll be looking forward to the preview to an Unquiet Equestria, whenever you're able to get it finished and posted here.

To be honest, my year didn't end on quite such a good note, but I'll be talking about that tomorrow... A humiliating mistake. But! That aside, all is well.
To be honest, my only real problem with Pokémon Y at the moment is that... Well, it's all rather low-levelled. They give me the opportunity to tame up to level 50s, and then the next gym fields 39s? I've been at least ten levels higher than any trainer I've faced for ages, and I'm sure I'm not overdoing things... Still, it's a really fun game, and I'm loving playing it!
I'm sure you'll keep your job down, man. You're clearly attached to it. And hey, a trip to the US sounds exciting! I'd be tempted to go sometime myself, only it's a lot of money and it's a long way. And I wouldn't really know where to start.
And I'm looking forward to it too, man... Let's just hope I can get it finished...

I'm sorry to hear the year ended on a lesser note. Mistakes can happen, I do hope it doesn't have any serious consequences or anything.
Pokemon Y does tend to be a bit easy, that's for sure. I reckon you're supposed to try and use a large number of varying pokemon given the amount of different types you encounter. If you tend to stick to the same team, with the expshare on, you are likely to end up overpowering every semblance of opposition. I think that by the time I was done exploring for items and went to challenge the elite four I had two lvl 90+ pokemon who won most battles singlehandedly.
Still it's a fun game and I'm quite fond of the new super training feature that is quite a bit less tedious than how you were supposed to train specific stats in previous games. It still takes a while but at least you get some more direct feedback this time. I do intend to see if I could get a more competitively oriented team out there, given that a couple of my friends tend to battle other players more regularly. I'll be awaiting pokemon bank to finally come online so I can transfer my previous trained pokemon to Y and see how well my somewhat basic blitzkrieg tactics hold up. Strike first and hard and hope you live to tell the tale, basically.
Though it may be delayed a bit again I'm quite curious what you're intending to publish as a previews. Will it be another character introduction? A scene from the perspective of the losing side of the war as you described several blogs back? An introduction to the overall story line? Whatever it'll be I'll patiently be awaiting for more of the project I've heard you so excitedly talk about to be revealed... As far as that's possible in text on screen anyway.
