Resolutions

All right... I really don't have any good reasons for not completing the requests by Colt in the Moon, Goldenheart, and touileasaso yet, and I'm not going to make a lame excuse either. The worst part is that I've let them go for so long that I don't even remember whose request came first without going back through my messages.

In any case... I have to make them a priority for January.

Resolution #1
Tangerine Sashay of Power
Quicksilver as a Night Guard
Fillies Play

Resolution #2
Target weight - 165 pounds.
(Personal best: down to 179 lbs. circa March 2012. Hello, pounds. I'd say it's nice to have you back, but it isn't. You're going to have to go away again.)
Why 165? Because according to the height/weight/BMI charts that I've seen, it is considered "healthy."

Resolution #3
2014 is the Year of the House. Barring me losing my job, this will happen... there should be some form of sub-resolutions to try to curb the insanity of moving Day, but those can come when an actual moving date is set. I resolve that there will be no suicidal ideation caused by the stress of moving this time. (Now I just have to take steps to ensure that I can keep this resolution.)

Resolution #4
Back to ponies, because no one cares about my weight or my living conditions.
More of a goal than a resolution... I will strive to write something that is worthy of the feature box. Yes, I'm trying to word that carefully, because I don't want to write a clopfic or use some cheap stunt to get notices. My lofty goal is to write a gem. Something that I can say I'm proud of having written, that I'd give myself a "favorite" if I read it... and I don't give out many favorites. I think I've given 41 as of today.

Figure out where The Old Green Mare is going or cancel it. I have 159 days to come up with something...

Flipside Six artwork... DONE!
O6 Bridlemaids... too much work put in to give up now. Make it work.

Resolution #7
Hopefully the mega crossover set into motion by dramatic spoon hasn't hit a brick wall. It would be nice to see something come out of all of that discussion.
I'd like to contribute something concrete to one of the shared universes (besides cover art).
I've also been mulling over the concept of what might happen if Princess Rarity from Magical Mystery Couture had an Equestria Girls crossover sequel.

Rarity: She stole my crown!

Sunset Shimmer: Maniacal laugh... (disappears through portal)

Rarity: Oh, I must get that crown back. The fate of Equestria depends upon it!

Twilight: Absolutely. Who knows what might happen if Sunset Shimmer tries to use the Element of Generosity in that other realm.

Rarity: Element of Generosity? Oh, dear me no. I never put my Element into my crown.

Applejack: Than why does the fate of Equestria depend upon you getting it back?

Rarity: Applejack, darling, I cannot simply let some ruffian think they can simply steal my designs and get away with it... what sort of precedent would that set?

Merry Go Round Part Deux: Merry Go Rounder Electric Boogaloo With a Vengeance.
The original was an exercise in what the adult mares and stallions might have looked like in their younger days, and technically is being repeated with the cover to Fillies Play. This piece will attempt to take as many background fillies and colts as possible and... I haven't decided exactly what yet. But there's already eleven of them including the Original Nine (Alula, Cotton Cloudy, Tornado Bolt, Noi/Sweet Wheat, Pina Colada, Aura, Dinky, Berry/Ruby Pinch, Tootsie Flute) and two Apple Family relatives (Red June and Apple Squash). I'd like to see if this can turn into a cross between the cover of Blossomforth With All Of Your Might and Twilight Time. completed 3/15/14, OC version posted 7/24/14

Finish what you start... All of the first 7 resolutions now count double with the year more than half over.
