#3: Order of Story vs Order in Time · 6:08am Dec 27th, 2013
I've always been fascinated with stories that "bleed" so to speak onto others in the series, not just because you slap the word sequel onto a story you have written in the hope that some old fans or a follower will care. But because it gives the author a creative way to help the stories meld together. It's a lot like incorporating celery and carrots into a slow cooker pot roast. Either you get authors who add the all the veggies in three hours into the pot, or you get authors who know that celery goes in late, and carrots go in an hour and a half before serving. That way you get chewable, not rock hard carrots and soft yet not mushy celery.
Right. So besides my starter paragraph, the actual meaning behind this post. I have planned the Kindness sequels, in fluidity for the reader.
The first story is the introduction of course...
The second story is more mental.
The third story is more physical.
The fourth story is "fabulous!"
The fifth (and maybe final) story is a mixture of them all.
Now comparing that to my last blog. You can see there's some conflicting information with RD and AJ's stories. This is the heart of this blog's purpose.
Fluttershy-in Kindness
Rainbow Dash-in Loyalties
Applejack-in Honestly
Rarity-in Gen-ecessity
Twilight-in The Strongest Magic of All (Pinkie Pie is a secret...Shhh)
As these stories get published I hope my readers don't leave after the first glance, or the first read.
You might not see the whole story if you read it only by publication vs. the story's chronological order.
What is the saga's chronological order?
Well I give little dibs and dabs, some more presentable then the others...as long as the story flows I don't mind if your believe honestly is the fourth story or if Kindness is the third. It's never fun to hold the reader back by saying "I'm the author so that's that!" I'd rather have the reader make up their own minds, even though the saga does have an ending story and a starting story which isn't too flexible to the reader's creativity...does it really truly matter who gets bucked first, second, third ect, ect?
So, no pinkie pie?

And if you decide to do pinkie... maybe it will be along the lines of Pinkemena instead of Pinkie Pie. And she would be the dominant one?

Pinkie Pie is my favorite pony. Because of that...I'm nervous that I'll represent her/portray her wrong...even though I know I can write for Pinkie. I'm just not sure how to represent her sexually wise, wither she's innocent like Fluttershy, or "experienced" like Rarity.

I do, and don't. Out of respect for my parents I sing the songs, and bow for prayers and the like but I'm not christian. I believe gift giving whether "Xmas" or Christmas is still a nice way to show "I care about you" and if you get a gift you love, that's how you know that person actually knows you.

Well its your story, and if you don't want to write her, just simply don't. I can understand how you feel. Rainbow Dash Is my favorite from the mane six. I'm pretty sure that when you post her's I'm gonna be hesitant to read it. But I will.
