This week's pic is Between Two Points by the group The Glitch Mob featuring the vocal talents of the artist Swan. The Glitch Mob is an American three-piece electronic music group from Los Angeles, California. This is off their album Drink the Sea, which you'll could expect to see more from that down the road.
This song features hypnotic, droning beats and a soft rhythm that really makes it a great song for imagining the 'smoky dark lounge' common in many detective tropes. I always think of dark seedy cyberpunk themed worlds when writing with this song, but it's so easy to just get lost in the hauntingly beautiful, yet pained vocals of the singer.
