My Problems With: Rainbow Dash · 4:26am Dec 8th, 2013
Alright, this is a big one. And I may piss a few people off, but I'm doing this. I'm tackling many people's "best pony." I'll be honest, I used to love Dash. Really, I did. But the more I watched, the less cool she became. She became more selfish and mean even after character development.
Now, Dash is the Element of Loyalty (She fits Honesty better though), she will never turn her back on a friend. But, we never see Dash attending an event of the other members of the mane six that doesn't appeal to her. I mean, she didn't attend Fluttershy's modeling show. She wasn't at AJ's barn raising in "Too Many Pinkie Pies." Now, if you think that was family exclusive, then why was Pinkie there? In fact, both Pinkie and Applejack display more loyalty than Dash! Pinkie goes out of her way to try to attend every event she can, and Applejack's damn nickname is "the most dependable of all ponies." That sounds more loyal than "fastest flier in Equestria." Has Dash ever shown interest in attending a special event that has nothing to do with herself? She went to the Gala to join the Wonderbolts. She went to the Pet Playdates because she didn't want to be left out. She went to the Royal Wedding because she was told to show off. She volunteers to lead the water-tornado thing, but only so she can break a record. She's never gone to a fashion show with Rarity, an animal-related thing with Flutters, or a book convention with Twilight. What a selfish bitch. And the fandom eats that shit up. But not me. Ever since I started watching, Dash has struck me as different. At first, I thought she was cool. But then, I watched Dragonshy and Hurricane Fluttershy. Wow, those episodes changed my opinion. Rainbow Dash sunk from my favorite pony, all the way down to worst Mane Six member. I really don't like her. At all. Her only redeeming factor is that Ashleigh Ball also voices Applejack.
If I could downvote blogposts, I would. Because you disagree with best pony. And that inherently means you are a despicable person. People aren't aloud to have differing opinions from me.[/sarcasm]
