So, for anyone that remembers, I made a comment in the A/N of chapter 2 that I wanted to address some personal opinions on Vinyl and Octavia, both separately and together. So, here's the low down:

Vinyl:
-If I eventually make a mention of her eyes where I feel the need to refer to their colour, I will not being going with red; as it has been confirmed that her eyes are the same as RD's, and because I, as an artist, feel that magenta fits her palette much better than the red (I thought red was cool, don't get me wrong, but this is about art here! COLOUR THEORY IS SERIOUS!)
-That's really all I have to say about Vinyl that might be up for debate, because everything else is just my personal portrayal of the character

Octavia:
-I'm will not be discussing the whole cello vs double bass thing because of her cutie mark, and here's why: Cutie marks are no 100%, this is all a pony is about. Take Fluttershy, for example: her cutie mark is butterflies, but does that mean she only care about butterflies? No, she cares about all creatures. Or Pinkie Pie: Her cutie mark is balloons, but she's also good with streamers, and baking, and laughing, and, now that I think about it, she even plays music. Octavia's cutie mark says she is a musical pony, nothing more. Now, if her cutie mark was a cello, then by all means she should be playing a cello, and be less likely to play other instruments. But, guess what? It's not.
-Again, same thing: I just wanted to make that statement and blahblahblah my version of her character blahblahblah

Covering the two as a couple/in a story together:
-While I don't have anything against writers that talk about it, I'm not going to get involved in TaviScratch making any sort of big deal about being fillyfoolers; it's been done before, better than I can write it, and I just don't feel like it has a place in my story
-Even though I haven't had them go to a bar just like most other TaviScratch fics, it doesn't mean they won't drink at all; it's a much simpler mechanic then the fillyfoolers one, so I don't feel like I need to dodge around doing it for fear someone did it better. If they happen to end up drinking, it may or may not be at a bar, but I'm going to do my best to keep in original and entertaining.
-No sex. I know the rating is on Everyone right now, so it might seem obvious, but I may bump it up later, so I just want to make sure people know: This will not become a clopfic in anyway; this is a story about these two interesting, unique characters growing and watching their relationships with each other and other ponies evolve.

And yeah, I think that about covers it. Hopefully no one is going to stop reading because of any of these reasons, but I did feel that I should get them out there in case anyone raises a question about them.
