in case the links don't work, a giant monster version of the god Bhenuvilze destroys the world the heroes call home. Lightning, Hope, Snow, Vanille, Fang, Sazh, and Noel fight him in space where they narrowly emerge victorious. the heroes reunite, Serah, Yuel, Caius, and Mog are revived, and everyone has a happy ending.
using the power of her friends and her powers as Savior, Lightning, in a manner reminiscent to the Lifestream in VII, turns a lifeless rock into a young, virtile new world to call home where if you look closely, resembles Earth because you can see the outline of Africa and in the epilogue, Lightning is dressed in clothes found only on Earth, she's riding a train resembling one of Earth design, there's cars that look like Subaru's and Toyota's, and she's entering a European style green field.
