Thoughts on MLP Season 4 Premier · 11:24pm Nov 23rd, 2013
I've never done one of these before so don't judge me to bad please. Also, if you haven't watched the premier yet and don't want some spoilers then don't read this.
So, My Little Pony Season 4 Episode 1 and 2. I just watched them and I have to say... WOW! Out of 3 seasons this has got to be the best of the premiers. Gives us a lot of info on where the Elements of Harmony came from, the rise of Nightmare Moon and the battle that she and Celestia fought against each other, and why Discord was turned to stone in the position he was in the first time. We also get a set theme this time around. In the last 3 seasons they were mostly about friendship, a few adventures (Dragon Quest and Spike at your Service to name a few) and with a few spins here and there (Royal Wedding and Crystal Empire). But no set themes. We got an idea at season 3s premier but not much. In fact, I don't think any of us knew what the book was about and was almost completely forgotten till the end of season 3. Now we have some sort of box that the Mane Six have to figure out and they no longer have the Elements of Harmony. How will Equestria be protected? What new villains will pop up? And will Discord play a more important role? I really hope so on that last one.
So yeah this is just some quick thoughts of mine one the premier. Over all, I'm pretty excited for season 4 and can't wait for the next episode and the adventures the Mane Six will have in opening that strange box.
Exactly my thoughts on the Elements. It takes Equestria Girls and stomps on it's plot...(not that kind of meaning) but then again, no one should have the torture of seeing that horrid movie.
How will Equestria defend itself? Horrible plot point, but excellent symbolism.
