So many headcanons were destroyed, and it was amazing.
As you might know, I was very mixed on "Magical Mystery Cure". But if the premiere episodes of Season 4 are any indication, this season will be glorious.

DISCORD! YES! Sorry about that. Anyways, I loved Discord here, he's once again voiced brilliantly by John de Lancie, and his antics are just fun as hell to watch. Also, seeing the Princesses defeat Discord as well as the whole Nightmare Moon incident was great. The idiot ball may have been dropped with the whole "Twilight, go back to Ponyville." thing, but I didn't mind, as this meant more Discord. I'm just reveling in the destroyed headcanons with how the NMM incident and the Princesses stoning Discord went. Also, the Elements are gone now. I actually didn't expect that. But hey, with that box (random tidbit: I was humming the noise made in Zelda when you found something during that), who knows what's in it. The Elements? A new power? Gwenyth Paltrow's severed head? I guess we'll find out in the season finale. But overall, I was really satisfied with the premiere, and am greatly anticipating next week's episode.
The princesses with saddlebags was an interesting thing to see. Though how they found out about the Tree is something to fuel fan fics.
