Family & Friends featured on Equestria Daily! + another Night of the Shy (Revamp) Chapter 7 sample · 10:30pm Apr 28th, 2012
So, thanks to the help from Golden Vision, the revised Family & Friends was accepted to Equestria Daily: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/04/story-family-friends.html. I can't say how happy I am for this. That was the most personal story I've written. And to see the comments it's already gotten, I have to say thank you to all who read and who will read it. Your words on it are therapy for me, considering what inspired it.
And now for the next sample of Night of the Shy (Revamp) chapter 7, which is being written, but is still a ways off. Seriously, I'm so detail-paranoid regarding this fic, I got myself stuck for a week getting the wording of one line just right...It will arrive eventually, don't worry! In the meantime, the next sample:
“Oh, my ears!” Rarity threw her hooves up to block out the noise. “What an infernal racket!”
“I'm with you there, sister,” muttered Gilda, covering her ears.
“Oh, please,” Trixie scoffed. “That is nothing compared to an orphanage full of shrieking infants.”
Again, there won't be as much action in this chapter, but it won't be gone completely. The adventure part of the story really picks up here, though.
Oh, and eventually, The Alicorn will be getting a major revision, too. Just not for a while.
