So, there is considerable anticipation over what will happen in season 4 (if you actually have to ask "season 4 of what?" then you're not paying attention are you). But I wanted to make a list of things that I DON'T want to see.
1, Death: While I know it seems in canon (but I don't know where) that AJ's parents are dead, and in some ways I'd actually like to see what happened to them. At the same time I don't want to see somepony actually die. That's a no-no
2, Shipping: I agree that some ponies could use new angles in their roles but that doesn't mean that they all need to suddenly up and get dates. PinkiePie is a good example of this. She has probably got the least complicated of personalities and the only two times when we've seen her dark side was in "party of 1" and the season openers for season 2. Beyond that we don't really know very much about her. I'm not saying that she should be getting a "special some-pony" or anything so much as we should start seeing a new side of her. I like the possibilities of her foal-sitting and learning more about life and stuff through them as well as maybe her attempts to teach them things.
3, flightless: I do NOT want to see Scootaloo stuck on the ground forever.
4, Swapping: It has been pointed out that in some ways, AJ and RD have each other's element. The LAST thing I want to see is MLP trying to switch them and hope nobody notices or something. Or eve worse, make it the plot of an actual episode!
5, Ending Evil: While I know it's better to have good win over evil, the idea of good completely exterminating the evil out of Equestria kinda limits the kinds of season openers and stuff that we could have. I mean the season openers are amongst the most popular and well liked episodes out there and you can't have those if you just up and eliminate all the potential evil they could face.
I was going to put a sixth here but I'm out of ideas and I need to go, it's noon and I have a 2 hour download to get done at the library and mom wants me back by 3 so, yeah you do the math. I've gotta go and unless I waste the day thinking about it there's not much more to add other than to invite everybody (all 1.3 of you) who actually read these to give your own comments and lists of things you want to see or rather, what you DON'T want to see.
