Well, I hit 5,000 total story views today. So you know what that meant? I killed my first two stories. That's right; The Rising Moon and Octavia's Performance are gone. Dead. Deleted. Sent to the moon. The first two pieces of fiction I ever wrote are no more, and frankly, it is about time. I entertained ideas for awhile about keeping them there for nostalgia, but after re-reading them recently, I almost killed myself with embarrassment. I have learned so much, and I cannot bear the thought of anyone reading anything new from me and then finding... those. Interestingly, A Chance Encounter only just made the cut. And the only reason it did was its 50k word count. I don't want to re-read that one, because I am not sure I can delete 50k words that, no matter how badly I want to admit otherwise, I poured my heart and soul in for a month and a half. Maybe I'll stick a big warning on it. It is God-awful, after all.
Anyway, so there's that! If anyone actually read them before today, then I am sorry. I truly am. I can do better, and I hope you read more of my stuff to see that. I have kept copies in the depths of my computer... maybe one day I'll break them out for the laughs. Maybe.
But there is a reason I chose now of all times, and it's not entirely because of the 5,000 view marker (though that sped up the process by a week or two). I have been hard at work with more writing! Yay! And... well... I am unbelievably excited for it, and I cannot wait to show you guys! You do like epic fantasy adventure with world building to matchDangerous Business or anything by Daetrin as far as grandeur and scale are concerned, don't you? (Whether or not it's actually good is up to you guys, but the sentiment is there!) Of course you do! :D Needless to say, I am powering through the last few editing stages of APLH so I can get around to getting some of this stuff out to you faster. Months of planning and world building are coming to fruition, and it's an awesome feeling.
Alrighty, so there's that. Finally, last time I gave you guys some reading ideas. Now it's your turn. You have anything you think I should read and will like (look across for reference on what I do like, haha)? I am flexible on genre. Heck, it could even be something of yours. If you think I should read something, or want me to, lemme know! Hopefully I can find some time to do just that!

Honestly, I can't wait. If you're rushing APLH to get to this (one of my favourite fics, by the way) then I can not wait to see what's in store.

90948 Oh man. I have so much stuff in the works, haha. I already have a 30k word mini-adventure fic completed and about to start going through edits (think Daetrin style adventure). And I'm in planning for a longer 'mini-epic'. Both of which are filled to bursting point with Tolkien style world-building (my head canon, haha). And then there is the big one. The one I have been building for almost 6 months now. Oh boy.
So much stuff, so little time! Haha.

Haha, I know that feel. I'm trying to tear through O Night Divine and Hearts Aflutter so that I can properly start on what I've been told (Through all they can gather from the sole chapter I've shown anyone) is my best fic yet. That Mare Do Well one.
