As she reached forward, upon her face was a joyful smile. She couldn’t wait to report to the princess on how well the ‘elevator’ seemed to be working! All it needed were perhaps some instructions and warnings and then it would be ready for everypony’s use!
Twilight pressed the button and turned to the door with a smile.
Nothing moved.
The smile fell from Twilight’s face and she pressed the button again. Still, the doors did not move.
Twilight moved to the other side of the elevator and pressed the button on that side that would open the doors. Still, nothing happened.
“But…I was so sure…” Twilight said to herself, becoming worried.
She tried the other button that she originally thought would close the doors. It did nothing as well so she tried the other button again, and then the other side. The doors just would not seem to open.
“Oh dear.”
That my friend, is a sneak peek for my next fanfiction; "Twilight Sparkle Gets Stuck In An Elevator".
Compared to my last fanfiction - a sad story about Discord and Fluttershy - this one is a light-hearted comedy that is exactly that the title says it to be. I'm half way finished writing it, and then it will have to be edited a bunch.
