Lessons from Another Dimension · 5:19pm Nov 9th, 2013

For those of you reading "Lessons from Another Dimension" (http://www.fimfiction.net/story/127224/lessons-from-another-dimension) then you know that the main character mixed in with the main characters is my OC, Bass Chord. Truthfully, I never expected that I would be writing that story for as long as I have been because I was never serious about it, and I still don't feel like taking it seriously. Why? Because I'm a writer first and foremost. I know that doesn't make any sense, but lets put it another way: I'm an amateur writer trying to go proffesional. You see, I write 99% OC and 1% fanfiction. I have countless characters and stories that are completely of my own creation that I am constantly writing on, but I suffer from terrible bouts of writer's block from time to time. When that happens, I default to fanfiction to sort my thoughts out. Usually my fanfiction ideas come from my nasty habit to sit in one spot for hours at a time daydreaming (i used to get in trouble for it back in elementary school, and i learned how to do it more discreetly in middle and high school.) Because of my frequent daydreaming and spacing out, my head is full of fanfiction ideas that i never really pay attention to until i run out of other ideas. So, "Lessons from Another Dimension" is one such event. Now, even though I'm not taking it as seriously as my original stories, I still have to take it serious to a degree as a writer, because as much as I like to write random crap, it tends to help if there's an overall plot. I'm working on that. I have a few ideas that I want to express in later chapters of LfAD, and I hope I get to them.
