Hey everypony!
I just wanted to get this message out before Season 4 of MLP was aired. I don't know if anypony will see this, because I have no stories of my own yet. I prefer to read the works of others and give my input and advice.
With the airing of Season 4, much history and lore will be revealed. This will probably conflict with personal headcanons, thereby conflicting with your stories.
The main message i want to get out is this: PLEASE DO NOT DELETE YOUR STORIES!
Many of you are fantastic writers, and it would be a shame for all your hard work to go to waste. Part of the reason this fandom is so wonderful is the creativity inspired by the show.
If your story does not match up with what the show has revealed, you have 3 options other than deleting it.
1) Leave it alone. Continue writing your story the way you had planned it.
2) Re-write portions of your story to match canon.
3) Just add an "Alternate Universe" Tag.
I look forward to reading all your excellent stories!
Lucky my story doesn't revolve around and mostly sticks to what happen in the side lines.
