Just a heads up on the backstory of WP3k.
I originally planned for the 2 alicorns, Celestia and Luna, to be demigods made by <story-secret> who live forever and rule over the ponies. With the new episode, however, a problem arose: How will I fit a new alicorn? Solution: I don't. Cadence is simply a "pegacorn". Descendents of Celestia and Luna back when they were first around (and didn't know they were immortal, so they had families), 99.99...% are just normal ponies (either Pegasus, earth, or unicorn), but very rarely a combination of all three, the pegacorn. They have all advantages of all 3 races, but do not possess the god-like qualities of the alicorns, namely psychic powers, immortality, and other things I'm too lazy to write about.

Awesome, but what about the Changelings?!
I see there being a potential for them being more than just a love sucking parasite since their current Queen was bent on conquest...so maybe after some time and from the Elements of Harmony way back then they purified Queen Chrysalis and now the Changelings are forever on the side of the Immperium?
Because my headcanon for the Changelings is that they will fight along side the ponies if they were ever threatened because from peacefully co-existing with the ponies, and since the only thing they actually eat is the emotion of love itself. So if pony kind and the other races were ever threatened, that would mean their supply of love is threatened due to the rising hate and sorrow, which are the opposite of love and stuff. So it would eventually effect them no matter what.
You probably already understand where I'm going with this.
I don't think Chrysalis would actually become "friends" with anyone besides those that have earned her respect by defeating her or something like that, she'd be a bitch that will bite some of your fingers off for playful fun, but she'd be a nice bitch that will fight along side you and send in her troops for massive fear factor against the enemy.
Atleast in my headcanon for settings in the far future and stuff.
But another reason is that I think it would be a double edged sword of reactions if you make the Changelings the ponies' version of the Zerg or something.
I know they'd still be bad ass ,but I think there is more potential than just a zerg-like enemy and stuff. Potential for an ally that has near limitless numbers as well as with a benevolent ruler that uses their mind to think things through and peacefully without sacrificing so much to gain so little in the end....because that's what happens with parasites and stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong about that if ya want. But enough of my wall of text and shiz. Your story is awesome and you should feel awesome and have more cookies.
