Has it really been a year?

Well, look at that—I've been on this site for a year now. I've read over a million often beautiful words, and I've written . . . well, not nearly as many as I'd hoped to, but the important thing is that I am writing. I actively wrote original fiction when I was younger and dabbled with KotOR fanfiction, but at some point I stopped and didn't put pen to paper in earnest for a good six or seven years. Then I discovered ponies last year, and the Sparkle spark was rekindled. It's admittedly a little weird to be pursuing pony fanfiction as a form of recreational writing, but it's fun and satisfying and I expect I'll keep doing it for quite some time.

So yes, the spark is still burning, and I'm still writing pony things. I haven't published anything here in a while, but work continues slowly but steadily on a whole bunch of different stories (including this Minuette collab with Scribbler that you should totally read because Scribbler is talented and Minuette is best time traveler).

Here's to another year!
