Apologies

Yes, more of them. These are for the delay. Arc 2 has been sitting within 1000 words from completion for months now (that's not a lot), and via some brutal mental sabotage, my brain has smashed the writing train with the banhammer. The complexities and intricacies of the topic at hand is not making it any easier, I promise you, but I am doing my absolute best to ensure it is the best it can be. The real themes I aim to explore are just starting their unveiling in this arc, and said themes are the exact opposite of simple. Lack of precedence also means examples I can draw from are virtually nonexistent.

In light of the shadows you've all been lurking in thanks to me, have a small excerpt from an early chapter:

"Hello," said a voice behind me.

My tail whacked Violet in the head as I whipped around, finding myself face-to-face with three ponies. I knew all three of them, but had only seen two in the flesh before. Eve looked markedly less disgruntled than the last time I'd seen her. Blackout was as impassive as ever, if a bit stiffer than usual. But the presence of either was dwarfed by the monstrously imposing presence provided by the flowing, ethereal, navy-blue, star-speckled mane that belonged to Princess Luna.

Steam is slowly (very slowly) picking back up again. All that's left to do is finish writing one more in-between passage then give it a few thorough proofreads, then I can finally start getting it out to you guys. Once that's done with, I can near-guarantee work on A3 will begin posthaste. My brain has had no shortage of thoughts and brainwaves on that.
