I haven't actually done anything in a long time on here, I well understand that, but I have actually contributed to something that will get on the site! A good friend of mine, Peregrine Caged , has set up an OC Tournament and I was one of the contestants. So if that sounds like an interesting read, go on over and support it.
And by 'I', I of course mean 'we'... it's a collab you see.
I put it in the description but I'll reiterate it here. The story is being co-written with my good friend Sasha Nein, who I met through the Collab Cage, a rather awesome group with awesome people.
So I was busily working away today (finished fifteen minutes early today because the team is awesome) and the topic of 90's nostalgic television came up and as it deserves to be, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a big talking point. I tried to argue that Xena: Warrior Princess was better, but they weren't having it. Anyway... One of my friends started talking about one of her favourite episodes and
So after a few months of patiently watching the follower count creep from 90 to 96, I decided to reward my loyal followers with a "100 follower special" fic. I started it the other day, (the one I talked about in my previous blog about getting 2500 words down in one day) and wouldn't you know it?

One such message was an invitation to a livestream...
of someone writing a fic...
...THAT fic.
I dunno, streaming yourself writing just feels a little wrong. Drawing I can understand, but writing? Nope.
81388 Yeah, it would be pretty entertaining to watch me write, as I write in between reading stories and watching videos which is like three times the entertainment .
But seriously a livestream for writing a story? That just seems a waste of time, plus everyone will know what happens, which makes the eventual release of the story kinda silly/pointless.
xD Exactly, watching me write would end up being a lesson in procrastination.
Again, exactly. Why ruin the plot points for an upcoming chapter? I can understand letting a few people in on it as pre-readers and such because they're there to help you improve the story by poring over it themselves and pointing out the things that don't make sense. Writing with a group of people watching would just end up being frustrating.
Wait... You got invited to watch someone write a story?
