I'm in a Octavia/Vinyl Scratch group on DeviantArt. I joined it ages ago and it just gives me stuff to look at every time I go on DA, but every now and then, the owners of the group make bulletin type things that get sent to anyone in the group.

One such message was an invitation to a livestream...

I dunno, streaming yourself writing just feels a little wrong. Drawing I can understand, but writing? Nope.

81388 Yeah, it would be pretty entertaining to watch me write, as I write in between reading stories and watching videos which is like three times the entertainment :pinkiegasp:.

But seriously a livestream for writing a story? That just seems a waste of time, plus everyone will know what happens, which makes the eventual release of the story kinda silly/pointless.

xD Exactly, watching me write would end up being a lesson in procrastination.

Again, exactly. Why ruin the plot points for an upcoming chapter? I can understand letting a few people in on it as pre-readers and such because they're there to help you improve the story by poring over it themselves and pointing out the things that don't make sense. Writing with a group of people watching would just end up being frustrating.
