Especially for the Ace Attorney fans among us, as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is coming out this Thursday, with the highly anticipated conclusion of NeoArtemis's Phoenix Wright/Friendship is Magic crossover, Turnabout Storm, coming out the following day! I don't know about you guys, but my productivity that weekend is going to be virtually nothing as I plan to be soaking in the OBJECTION!y goodness.
The 24th is also when the Rifftrax guys do their live show in theaters across the country, riffing on George Romero's genre-defining zombie movie, Night of the Living Dead. Whether you're an old fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 or not, I highly recommend seeing it, if possible. I attended their Rifftrax showing of Manos: The Hands of Fate, and it was a great experience. It's one night only, though, so be quick to grab a ticket if you can go!
I'd also like to take a moment to plug for Wayforward's upcoming game, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. Even if you're unfamiliar with the series, if you like classic 2D platforming, quirky characters and dialogue, or the idea of a cute, sexy heroine who can change into different forms via the power of dance, then please, PLEASE contribute to its funding. Even though the Kickstarter for it is already over, and it's been fully funded, they're still taking Paypal donations, and if it gets up to $900,000, then they'll reach the goal for Hero Modes, which allow you to play as Shantae's friends: Mace-swinging Bolo, falcon-trainer Sky, and zombie girl Rottytops. Every little bit helps!
