So, as you may or may not have noticed, this UNKNOWN PONY actually made a blog. You may be thinking, "Eh!? That old sod Unknown made a blog? For whatever purpose does he wish to fill our notifications with unwanted personal reading material?"
Well, I felt like commemorating this moment, as it has been almost an exact year since a convenient combination of friends and the internet persuaded me to give the show, if not the fandom, a chance. And holy hell, did I get hooked. On the fanfiction, I meant. The show was good too, but it was mostly the fanfiction. The first fic I ever read was a grimdark, yet I'm here? Strange days, indeed.
So, yeah. Pseudo-anniversary for poniez today. Party at my house. And I've survived in a fandom for a year! *sarcastic tone* I feel real freakin' proud of myself. First Pokemon, now MLP. My past self would laugh at me right now for liking the show, but frankly, I care not of what that uncouth barbarian may think. Let him think what he thinks and judge what he judges. Jerk.
...Oh, yeah. It's also my birthday today, nothing worth mentioning.
I like this fandom. A lot. I think I'll stay awhile. Aiming for another year, perhaps? Starting the timer...now.

We may all have our headcanons, and mine is that OctaScratch is best pairing.
