Well... I know I said that I'd start working on my fanfics again in my previous blog, but I'm finding that I'm thinking about other things right now.
I don't mean to keep those who are waiting for updates to keep waiting, but... well, I write for me, not for you guys, so you'll have to wait a while longer, I'm just not feeling up to My Little Pony right now. However, my hiatus has a few good side effects. This is the first time I've really gotten interested in other fanfics, (up til now I've only read MLP, One Piece, and Zelda fanfics), and I've found one that almost made me cry. It's called Loophole. (click for link). It's about an alternate universe called "Petstuck". In this universe Trolls are from earth, and kept as pets. In this story, an adult John (sburb doesn't exist) takes in abused animals, and eventually gets a very young (and adorable) Vriska in his home. A serious and heartwarming and heartbreaking story. I don't want to spoil anything for you, but one of the tags is "Major Character Death", so be warned.
Why am I telling you all this on a MLP website?
Because this is a great fanfic, and this story has inspired me to try writing about Homestuck, which is what I'm going to focus on for a while. I'll still probably work on Fluttershy's Home for Reforming Monsters while doing this, as it's the story with the shortest and easiest to write chapters, and I'll try to keep you all up to date on this new Homestuck fanfic as well.
I think it's a basic story, and probably done before, but here's what I got so far:

So, it'll be an alternate universe, where Karkat didn't give the Beta Kids' universe cancer. They pass through the gate and live in the Beta Kids' Earth, attempting to conquer it like they were planning beforehand. As this takes place before Jack destroyed the gate they never got trapped on the meteor, and never trolled the kids (and Gamzee's raging rampage of Honks never happened).
It'll be about the trolls deciding how to go on, how to restart their civilization, what they should do next, and in the meantime Dave & Bro decide that it's up to them to fight off the Alternian invasion.
