So yeah - instead of the World War II fic, I've decided to write another short story. I can't really write horror all that well, but I do enjoy a creepy setting, that's why I'll be writing a fic that'll challenge Pinkie's idealism of 'giggle at the ghosties'. Likely to be a short, five chapter or less story on the same vein as Slendermane Takes Ponyville. May I present to you...
Alone in the Dark
On the night before Nightmare Night, Pinkie's week long visit to her sisters, Inkie and Blinkie, outside of Nowhere, Equestria is nearing a close. However, with their parents out of town, they have the farmhouse all to themselves, and Pinkie is ready for an epic farewell party. Yet at this time every year, spooky things tend to happen in Nowhere... when the fog rolls high in the eventide.
But is this the only reason Pinkie's sisters wish her to leave early?
Ze Characters
A creepy, mysterious fic - though one that will likely have a happy ending. Expect a lot of Courage the Cowardly Dog, Silent Hill, and horror references in general. I plan to keep the characters in this limited, but a few of my favorites will be showing up...
Pinkie - Pinkie pie, of course!
Inkie - Pinkie's outgoing and adorable younger sister. Based off Inkie from the Ask the Pie Sister's blog.
Blinkie - Pinkie's equally adorable, shy, young sister. Based off Blinkie from the Ask the Pie Sister's blog. Both her and Inkie may be holding a dark, sad secret.
Courage the Cowardly Dog - The Pie family's fearful, though loyal pink dog. (Come on, like this wasn't expected)
Katz - A mythical spook who lives in the Dark Woods near Nowhere.
Time Turner, Derpy, and Captain Black Harness - Independent entities investigating the strange happenings of Nowhere. Time Turner is not the Doctor in a traditional sense. May prove to be useful, though only temporary companions to Pinkie.
The Wind in the Willow - A whispering wind that flows through the trees every Nightmare Night. May be more than just a strange, natural phenomenon...
Will the fic be a refference to the games Alone in the Dark? Because I don't know much about the universe of the game.
