Next update.

Okay, it'll be a short while before my next update on any stories. And I'm not gonna tell you why.

...oh, alright. I'm not mean.

The fact is, I have a whole bunch of ideas ready to go, and I want to get them down before I forget some of the more important details. I also want to get a few chapters of one of them down before I start uploading them; that way, I can update regularly, rather than leave everypony hanging and waiting for the next instalment (or just forgetting about what happened before, so they're utterly confused when the next chapter comes out).

Anyway, I've got...hold on, lemme count...one, two, three, four...five different ideas for now, and that may expand. I don't want to give any spoilers, but I want to leave something, so here's a (very) basic rundown, in the order I plan to do them (though that may change):

Idea One: A second-person (pony?) romance. I'm looking at you, reader.
Notion Two: A historical drama.
Design Three: A tournament involving comedy. (Not a comedy tournament; it's a tournament story that just happens to be funny.)
Proposal Four: Top-secret. Not letting anything out of the bag on this one. Except that it's second-pony again. That's all I'm giving you.
Brainchild Five: A continuation of Her Ever-Faithful Student. Yes, I have some solid paths it could take, and I think I've decided on one. Also, I have an epic idea for a 5-minute animation that ties into this idea; there's only one problem...I can't animate to save my life. However, I may attempt to learn during the other projects, and I might just about be able to whack out something relatively passable by then. Who knows? Only time will tell.

Also, I do plan to continue my other stories at some point (though I feel like scrapping the chapter so far for A Night to Remember and starting over from scratch), so no worries there.

Just give me time. I'll get there in the end.
