MORE computer trouble?!

Yes, apparently the computer issues were not fully dealt with, and have returned with a vengence. My entire system is FUBAR, as i cant even do the simplest things; much less run spyware and/or defrag the damn thing.

I'll see if i can work at places like the library, but i doubt anything else would work out.
Until the problem is PERMENANTLY resolved, i can only operate though my iphone.

Aw, geez. I know what that's like. I hope you get a new/less crap computer soon. But you might want to go ahead and put all your files and stuff on a flash drive or something, so in case your computer completely goes out, you won't have lost anything. I had to learn that the hard way. Twice.

66880 yea, same story here. I have a 4 gig flash with all my fics, pics, and music that i update with the computer regularly. So i think all my short-term work is covered.

66889 Also, you said you could barely do anything on it. Have you tried running the computer in safe mode? It helped me many times when my family decided that they really were the 10,000th visitor to a site.

66894 tried, doesnt work. The blasted thing freezes up and forces me to reboot under 20 minutes of turning it on. ESPECIALLY when i use word.

66900 yea, but the decesion isn mine. Technically it is my mom's computer.
I just use it so much because her job has provided a business laptop strictly for her work (which she uses daily).
