    Another update post. (unenthused yay)

So I recently released 2 new fic on the site and am still planning on updating EOD in the near future. The reason I haven't updated it is:
    1) Pressure to preform, I want to make sure people like it but I also want it to be fun for me so stressing out over it has kept me from moving forward as fast as I would have liked.

    Updates (Stories and more)

Okay so I'm still working on EQG:EOD, it's just that I have a very acute case of procrastination, or more scientifically lazyf*ckingassitis, and so work is a little slow on it right now. Just have to write the last three scenes and it'll be done, structurally anyways.

    78

    78.

There are 78 Pegasuses in Ponyville.

    How do I know? Math.

    First some assumptions:
1)All Pegasus able to fly participated in the collection of Cloudsdale water,
    2) All capable children were included. So no Pound Cake or Scootaloo.

    Fluttershy's Key?

So I was watching Rainbow Falls and saw the rainbow power box key when I realized that this was probably how everyone was going to get their key, by not conforming to their element, having shit happen to them and coming to the realization that their friends and their said element are important and then they would be given a key by a non-Mane 6 cast member whom was inspired by said character's

Enemy of the World and the Web of Fear

So, what are The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear, you may be asking yourself? If you claim to be a Whovian and are asking, please hand in your credentials. Just kidding.

New Story Idea · 7:35am Aug 31st, 2013

So in my last post (The Twin Dilemma) I said I was attempting to link a new story in with EG:EOD. The basic idea was to have a few references to the new story in there and have it be its own little side story. While I can still write it, I figured I'd not have it interact with my other story, at least not as much as I had planned.

Sidenote as well, I'll finish EG:EOD before I get to this other story, at least I hope so. Next chapter should be out ether when I get my copy of The Ice Warriors or the BBC announces that the rumors are true and that The Web of Fear has been found, which ever happens first (kind of hope fate bites me in the ass on this one).

So what was my new story idea? Well the premise was to do a doctor who story (real original there) set in the Crystal Empire during the Equestria Games.
The main villain for the story would be the Ice Warriors since they were close to an artic ice sheet and could reappear in a similar way to the way they did in both The Ice Warriors and in Cold War.

The doctor himself would not be his tenth persona, as many in the fandom would expect. I will be trying to write him as his third persona (Jon Pertwee). The main reason for this is that at the end of The War Games (last serial of season 6) the second doctor was sentenced to exile on Earth by the Time Lords and forced to regenerate, leading to the third doctor at the start of Spearhead from Space. However, this is one of two regenerations that occurred off-screen, so there's room in here for what is generally referred to as Season 6b. So I figured it would be a perfect way to get the doctor to Equestria and change his appearance while simplifying the reason why he's here. Basically, he resisted the Time Lords sentence and got lost in a trans dimensional thing while he was undergoing the forced regeneration which would end up with him as a pony in Equestria. Also the Tardis would be broken like is was from Spearhead from Space to The Three Doctors

In fact, the working title for the story is The Equestrain Games: Spearhead from Space, as a reference to that story. It would sort of be a cross between the story's namesake and the Ice Warriors. I have a rough idea for the rest of the cast as well and the roles that they will play, moreso as to how they will act in terms of story role more than a name change, ie, doctor whooves will be the doctor but Derby will still be derby:

Doctor Whooves: 3rd Doctor- Upperclass gentleman who know Venusian Aikido, can be arrogant at time but means well, always sticks to his moral. Really dislike his exile and doesn't hold the military (and close-minded) thinking in a positive light.
Derby Hooves: Jo Grant- bumbling assistant who means well and trusts the doctor. May not be book smart, but definitely not unintelligent and will call the doctor out when he's head is swollen with pride and stubbornness.
Shining Armor: The Brigadier- General military type with strong moral backing, most skeptical of alien ideas, will obey order even if he disagrees, but will look for loophole and try to do what is right. (no backstory with the doctor unlike Brigadier Alistair Gordon Leftbridge-Stewart- and you thought the ponies had long names!)
Princess Cadence: general wise leader of random group in trouble during base under siege stories
Princess Luna: general antagonist leader who is more concerned with safety and protection than doing what the doctor wants i.e. attacking the monster to save one's nation instead of reasoning with it because you simply can't take the risk if the doctor's wrong about them (unfortunately normally causes situation to get worse)
Flash Sentry: ether someone like Mike Yates or a redshirt I can kill off, haven't decided.
The Ice Warriors: The Ice Warrior as seen in The Seeds of Death (NOT THE SEEDS OF DOOM, THAT'S A TOM BAKER SERIAL)

So I plan on making it a six part story, like many other classic serials, and I plan on doing this after I'm done with EG:EOD. That's all I've got planned so far. I am also planning on posting a blog about my thoughts on Doctor Who, but it's 2:30AM where I am now and I'm going to save it for later.

his third persona (Jon Pertwee).

Dude, you may have the most original Doctor Whooves story just based on this. Everyone is wet for Tennant, so we don't get to see any other personas.

I, as an honourary Time Lord, advocate the creation and distribution of this story. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

It sounds interesting, my friend...
I shall wait in excitement. :pinkiehappy:
