Thought I would share something I wrote · 6:28pm Aug 23rd, 2013
Well, that was interesting. Accidently hit the enter button before I put anything in here :P Anyways, I wrote a little poem that I thought I would sare with everyone. But first, a little background. I am currently part of an RP group that is playing My Little Pony: Roleplaying is Magic. If you would like to check it out, here the website to the rule book. I highly recommend it. MLP: FIM Season 3 We are using Season two, but there is the most recent version. Anyway, so I am playing as an OC I created named Golden Hooves. During our adventures, we met an NPC who is an airship captain. She runs her own shipping company. GH has always been fascinated with airships, and he find this airship captain to be very intriguing. So much so, that he wants to try and start a relationship with her. GH is a very well known writer, so he decided that when they meet again, he wants to give her a very special gift; a poem, written about her. I thought I would share that poem with you guys. This is really my first adventure into poetry, but I think it turned out fairly well. So without further ado, here is my poem, Flying Without Wings.
Flying Without Wings
By Golden Hooves
Flying amongst the clouds
With no wings to hold you up
The mighty airship floats along
Like a whale in the ocean
It glides along on air unseen
Peaceful, silent, strong
The mighty captain stands at the wheel
She guides the ship on its way
Never fearing of falling
Never afraid of dying
Up here in the clouds
Life can seem like a distant memory
There are no worries
No sorrows
No fears
The captain overlooks the land
The sky is her domain
And is hers to command
She smiles as she drifts away
Into uncharted lands
She explores the sky
Like a ship on the ocean
Always watching the ponies below
As she sails past their lives
The mighty airship floats along
Command by a brave captain
As the two of them go along
Into the great beyond
...there's nothing here.
EDIT: or was that the point?
no no, I hit the enter button by accident :P
This is really good, man! I really enjoyed that. Keep up the good work!
