Passing
As the clock of time ticks on
We begin to feel the pull on our soul
And it brings us to a new dawn
Now we begin to lose control
Our mind begins to dull
And our body starts to slow
Then we see the man whose face is a skull
Yet he is not our foe
This man is our guide
He shows us to the next world
So that we can be tried
All our life becomes unfurled
All must go with him eventually
For our sparks are not lasting
We have nothing essentially
But as long as we are remembered, we will be everlasting
For those who have been lost and those who were close to them.
