How long does it take for a story to get published currently?

Because *SPOILRZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* I made a new story. Then yesterday I submitted it, waited like 24 hours, still waiting for approval, then I un-submitted it and re-submitted it, and now like 6 hours have passed and it's waiting for approval. I can't tell if this is because knighty hates me cuz oh mai epikc huntsmeem skilz in tee eff too :rainbowdetermiedn2;, or because the staff's discussing whether to let the shit onto the site or not. (Note: The story is shit.)

The first story I submitted only took me about an hour, I remember it was 2 minutes before midnight or whatever (le iron maiden refarenze) My newest one took me about 8 hours.
