Partial rewrite to Big Bang of 1494

Hi guys~

I have rewritten the first half of Big Bang of 1494.
I originally submitted it to Equestria Daily and it was rejected because it wasn't engaging. They told me to go for advice on ponychan.
I can understand that the story doesn't have much conflict, but considering it ends the way it does, I feel adding conflict would spoil the tone I was aiming for. So I decided to make it more personal for Emerald instead, starting at the flashback scene.

So now I rewrote the beginning (after the flashback) and did some rearrangement. The second half of the story is pretty much untouched, but the first half has changes sprinkled all over the place, since I deleted the original opening scene. The dividing point is the 2nd wake-up out of 3 in the story.

I really want to make this story EqD worthy and I'll take all the help I can get!
