New project, and changing life · 1:03am Aug 7th, 2013
So this is to all eight of my followers. First off, thank you! I'm glad that you like my stories, and it's wonderful to see you guys stick with me despite my slow posts.
Second off, I'm sorry to say that I'm currently putting Mark and The Glorious Sun on a full hold. I know you might have seen the huge delays between chapters and think it's not a big deal, but that was due more to laziness and school work. Right now, though, I have a new story that I want to put all of my effort into. I've come to realize that with the mentioned stories, I had an idea, wrote something up, and rolled with it, with no clear plan in mind. That doesn't really work, because writing is hard. As in, I need a somewhat detailed plan to move forward easily in a story. With Mark I have almost no planning, and with the Glorious Sun, I'm only going off of that story's general progression. The planning I did for Twilight Sparkle Buys Bread is easily twice that of the other three, and that was just a one shot, silly idea I had.
So, I'm putting them on hold. I'm not abandoning them, but I need to fully develop this other story if it's going to have the full impact I want it to have. That said, I'm also going out for college in less than two weeks. As in, next to no free time as I learn stuff. I simply won't have the time to work on multiple stories at once, and I don't want to leave you guys hanging, wondering when or if I will ever finish up the stories.
I hope you all don't hate me for this (please, please, please), and I'm sorry. Once I get life assorted again and have an idea about how much time I can divert to ponies and writing about them, I'll get to work fully fleshing out what I want to do with Mark and The Glorious Sun.
