    Mental Breakdown

So I usually think of myself as a relatively mentally stable individual. I never thought I would have a mental breakdown until I was in my 60's or 70's.

    I was wrong.

So my day started out like normal, wake up, stay in bed for an extra hour or two, get up, eat breakfast, go lay down.

    Ordinary day.

So today I got out of bed all excited, mostly because today is my birthday, I went around and got my parents up, then went to get my sister up.

Mental Breakdown · 9:39pm Aug 2nd, 2013

So I usually think of myself as a relatively mentally stable individual. I never thought I would have a mental breakdown until I was in my 60's or 70's.

I was wrong.

So my day started out like normal, wake up, stay in bed for an extra hour or two, get up, eat breakfast, go lay down.

Ordinary day.

Then came the weird. It started when I was playing a MMORPG called Cyber Monster, and I noticed my levels, and my team's levels were lowered, and my character's name had reverted to its original one (I had recently changed it to Skeith). I dismissed it as a network error that occurred and shrugged it off. So I signed off and went to work on my next chapter of To Be the Second Best, which I had been working on with friends to try to improve, since the first few chapters that I have are really bad. I remember getting all the way to chapter 8 before me and my friends started to goof off.

The files were gone. Just gone. Poof. Like they never existed.

When I contacted my friends about them, I was told that we had no such writing session. So okay, I just had a foggy memory, nothing new, Usually can't remember what I ate for breakfast. To calm myself down, I went to watch a movie I got a long time ago, then lost before I could even remove the packaging. I recently found it and watched it. (The movie was Scott Pilgrim vs. the World by the way) I had watched it about 20 times in the last 4 days, and could recite some of the lines.

I found it laying on the counter, where it was after I found it, in its original factory packaging. Now was the point that I started freaking out. I know that this is not a network glitch or foggy memory. So I do what I always do when stressed, go to youtube, do not pass go, do not collect $200. But Youtube decided to be a jerk and add to my stress, saying my subscriptions were uploading videos I know that they uploaded weeks ago. So to release all of this stress, I decided to talk to someone.

Whenever I tried to say something about it, I would be ignored. Except for 2 people. Those people were my friend Fox, and his mother, who happens to be a psychologist. She told me I was having either a.) very vivid and real dreams, or b.) My brain was having a detachment from reality. Both would be caused by one thing. Stress. The Stress coming from one of two things, The recent death of my cat, whom I have had for 8 years, or the fact that if I mess up my next school year, which is coming up within the month, I will not be able to attend college.

My day has been eventful, and this all happened before noon.

Perhaps you have glimpsed into other realities.

One thing I have learned about life is that it's all in our head; things are only as real as we believe they are.

That's not to say you should ignore what's right in front of you, however.
