No matter how hard I try, it seems that I will never ever ever EVER be able to write a chapter with 2000 words or less.
I've been told that this isn't a bad thing, but it does make updating on a regular basis a real pain in the fucking ass. In case any of you are wondering, Tattoo of the Sun was supposed to be a serious, but short story. Like, tops 3000 words per chapter. There was gonna be more chapters, but it would still be a relatively short read. So I got it all structured out and began to write the first chapter. "Well fuck, this is nearly 4500 words. Okay, the introduction should be a little long, I'll get it right next time!" Second chapter: 7000 words. "God dammit! Okay, third times the charm! I will condense this down where I want it!" And of course, upon getting in and working out some more plot through the third chapter, it's still much longer than I want it.
That's pretty much all I've got to bitch about today. I can't ever update because my writing ends up being much longer than I wanted.
Lately I've been thinking about getting a co-author, seeing if having someone to help me write these stories when I'm too busy would help me put out content faster. I don't know though. A co-author would probably want to help with the plot and stuff more, but I've pretty much got everything as I want it., and I really doubt anyone wants to just write my story for me when I'm busy :/
If anyone has any ideas let me know!
