Dr. Sky's singalong blog #19

Hey guys, long time no see! Well, I think at this point we can make it official, I am one of the laziest authors around! You know it's been more than nine months since I first published the opening chapter of Change Your Mind? Nine months!!! That's fucking insane! Considering how little I've gotten done of the story's second part and then how much more there is to go from there, I'll be lucky to ever get the stupid thing finished. And it doesn't help that most of the concepts and plot I was attempting to establish have been made impossible to fit into any sort of canon since the events of season 3. I mean, Alicorn Twilight? How the hell am I supposed to suddenly fit that into a story that's supposed to have taken place a few years after season 2? It's things like that (totally called the Wonderbolt boot camp thing though, called that shit months in advance) that I guess I'll just have to ignore and write around. God only knows what kinda changes season 4 will bring! I can't help but feel that if I'd just moved my ass and wrote the damn thing I wouldn't even have to be worrying about this right now! Something that becomes hopelessly non-canon isn't any where near as annoying as something that always was hopelessly non-canon (In my defense, the overall story is done and has been done for awhile, I just need to actually write the fucker). Anyways, point is, I'm not Super Girl, I can't predict what the writers are going to do, so I hereby declare that my DashXPie saga is going to be... uh... let's say, set in an alternate universe, where the events of season 3 never happened! Okay so believe it or else, there is a point to my rambling! I know I've been lazy but I'm starting to get back on the ball and have been really cracking down lately! During the next couple of weeks don't be surprised if you see two, three, hell, maybe even four new chapters of Tattoo of the Sun! And of course another edition to the ever contradicting world of Change Your Mind/Try, Try, Try! And I may be biting off more than I can chew, but don't be surprised if I throw a little one-shot you guy's way (don't get your hopes up either, but don't be surprised if it does happen :P). So yeah, that's pretty much it for this installment of my bi-monthly update. You all stay cool, and don't do anything I wouldn't!
