My thoughts on Alicorns.

Okay. I've heard a lot of debates about this subject so here's my thoughts on it. (I doubt anyone will read this but here goes.)

First of all while Hasbro has confirmed that Celestia and Luna are immortal that does not make them deities. Immortals can and have died numerous times in the past and in numerous different worlds. Let's start off with Duck Tales the Movie's Merlock, he was granted immortality by the Genie, showed little if any signs of aging and yet fell to his death quiet easily. Vampires are classified as immortal by several different texts and even had it stated in games and books and yet they are routinely killed off like roaches under a heel of a boot. Tirek and Grogar both classified as immortals by any standards were destroyed by the Little Ponies of the First Generation. So I think it's should be clear that despite the fact that they are insanely powerful in their skills; (Sun, Moon, Magic, Love) that Alicorns are just a breed of pony who can endure the ages better then most. They are NOT deities.
