Well, April 2nd is my birthday. Before heading off to bed, I refresh the page to see any notifications I might have...Turns out I see ANOTHER Halo: ODST fic. I read it. Personally, I wasn't too impressed. It has 2 chapters at 3K words...and has already surpassed my fic in number of views. Grr...
Makes me wonder why I'm still doing this. Nothing I ever do reaches a wide audience. I was kinda happy with my 1K views, but this turn of events has dejected me. I'll continue writing, though. I figure I'm almost half way done with the story. I just wish it'd get seen by more people.
Glad that fic isn't on EQD. I'd stop writing if it got there.

56190 It does, thank you. On a positive note, it seems my story got some views, comments, and favorites since the other story came out. I guess mine appears in the recommendations due to its tags. Its publicity, I guess.

56214 Well, both characters awake after injury (surgery in HoM) and the compartment they're in (medical bay) is cold and frosty because of some mishap. Then, the ship's AI informs the person in question of some less-than-thrilling news.
If you've ever read Halo: Legends then you'll know what I'm talking about. Good read. Lots of short stories.

56524 HAHAHA. I was actually thinking of pairing the ponies up with the ODSTs...now I'm more leaning for just having them all grouped up. But I think I'll have them do scouting missions and such.
I REALLY want to have RD and Dutch team up, because we all know how much Dutch loves flying...

GAH! Now there's another Halo fic! This one's better than the ODST one but his language irks me...its like 2nd person POV...and he uses little to no contractions. That's just weird...
