A big fan of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon! Not to the best pony extreme, I just find them interesting, especially with the headcannons I built around them.
Okay, now that that awkwardness is over, I can begin with my complete thoughts on Equestria Girls. Warning!!!!! Spoilers!!!!
First of all, there are only one and a half bad things I can say about Equestria Girls, the first is the ending. I found it intensely anticlimactic. Twilight just goes through the portal and Pinkie says "Awww, bummer." And that's it!!! I will remove this from my list if there is some sort of sequel. Also, Flash Sentry (AKA Brad) should have went through the portal with Twilight and Spike. Is Twilight just going to forget about him and date Equestria's Flash?
The second thing I didn't like was the pacing. Though I said this was one half because I'm not sure I truly hate it. It just seemed more like an assembly line than a story, there's a problem, and they quickly fix it. It would be better if each problem showed some exposition besides how much of a jerk sunset shimmer is.
Now, I also have an extensive list of good things, so I'm just going to quickly list them:
#1 The inclusion of many secondary characters as background characters (Big Mac, Granny Smith, CMC, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, the Cakes, Trixie).
#2 Demon Sunset Shimmer.
#3 HUMAN DERPY!!!!!!!!!!!
#4 Twilight/Flash potential lasting relationship.
#4 Rarity's reaction to receiving a broom.
#5 Rainbow Dash's "So awesome!!" Face.
#6 CMC blasting their youtube song in a library (A common memory from my childhood).
#7 The CMC having a youtube series and having the same reaction to people laughing at it as in The Show Stoppers.
#8 Meeting Fluttershy.
#9 Fluttershy's reaction to dogspike talking.
#10 Pinkie's "hunches".
#11 The fact that Spike wears a spiked collar, but has a heart tag.
#12 Rainbow Dash Takes Scootaloo flying (after she's dancing like a chicken.)
#13 The Great and Powerful Trixie needing some peanut butter crackers.
#14 More Alicorn Twilight!!!!!
#15 Alicorn Twilight is flightless (potential flight lesson episode).
And most importantly...
IT'S A BUCKIN' MLP MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!
