Welcome to "What Grinds my Gears"
Hello, tell me if this makes sense.
Silence echoes into the room.
How does silence echo, I get the meaning but it just isn't possible, or is it. It's just not a provable effect.
Sometimes there's this low, reverberating "hum" in my ears if I suddenly go somewhere quiet. I think it's my ears adjusting to the change in sound in a room, or lack thereof.
I like the phrase, only because it's one of the few times people use the word "echo" anymore in writing. There's not enough canyons or large empty buildings to warrant its usage anymore.
1209508 Now that was enlightening, I dare say you should blog that
1209584 M-Me? Blog? Don't be ridiculous! I'm just an editor now. Heck, n-not even much of one... St-stop being silly.
... You're silly.
1209730 We're not silly, now give us a group huggle *Open their arms widely*
1209740 *looks around for the rest of the group*
... *shrugs* *huggles* ... I still think you're silly, though.
1209741 Which one of us? *both tilt heads to opposite sides*
1209755 ... Both.
That phase reminds me of a phase Peter Griffin of Family guy once said......
