Primus Autem Gradus

I write this to commemorate my foray into the extensive and entertaining world of pony fan-fiction.

A little over a year ago, if you had approached attempting to convince me I would sign up for this website and subsequently begin producing works of fiction related to the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic television show, I'd have thought you daft. I dare say most of us have been there before.

I have associated myself with a handful of fandoms over the years, but took to the sidelines. I left more active members produce works of art and fiction, whilst I merely sat and enjoyed the shows and games themselves. I didn't consider the possibility that maybe I could contribute somehow. Many ideas have indeed graced my mind, but I feared I did not possess the creativity and conviction to divulge them.

I want to bury that fear. Six-feat under with a grand tombstone and elegant engraving. "Every great journey begins with a single step."

I write this to commemorate my first step... my primus autem gradus.
