So I showed my girlfriend FiM for the first time · 5:27pm Jul 2nd, 2013

She rather liked it. She reckoned Fluttershy was cute, and she liked Pinkie Pie. Episode was Dragonshy. Yeah, pretty much that.

Also, nearly 10k words of Pipsqueak's Grand Adventure! I might be able to release chapters in 2 weeks if all goes well - you know, ensuring consistent updates, buffer time and all that. I'm making ridiculous progress on the nights I do work - 2k in a sitting, 2.1k in tonight's - but whether or not it all survives... I mean, it's 10k, sure, but it's also 10k of [redacted]. This is going to turn out to be super-long, and whether or not this 10k makes the cut determines the tags I put on it.

Also more teasers, because hell yes Luna:

“Pipsqueak,” Luna said, as I came to in an empty world of light gray. Tall as ever, mane rich and starry, eyes as deep as the night itself, with tension pulling at her face. “Hello.”
“Hello, Princess Luna,” I said, frowning a little as I bowed.
“This is not a dream,” she said tersely, in the way of all her awkward interjections. “Not in the sense that you know it. This is, for our intents and purposes, actually happening. So you and I are actually meeting face to face.”
I blinked and looked around. “But I’m sleeping.”
“You are.”
“But I’m not dreaming?”
“You are not.” She bit her lip, her eyes focused on me. I had learned that it meant no harm when she did that. “The dream is happening in your mind, but I weaved it. Describing the essential laws at work is unnecessary and complicated, but suffice it to say, this dreamspace is of my production. Think of it as a pony’s mind being fertile soil, and the dreams crops from the seeds of thought. I have cut up a square of my soil and placed it on top of yours. This is the simplest explanation I can give you.”
I nodded, thankful. Over the years, we had this much at least - she told me what I wanted to know, and never dumbed down anything, only broke things down into more digestible chunks. And I told her things with the best of intentions, not burdening her with teenage angst being chief.

I was gonna say "bad move, bro" but it sounds like you still have a girlfriend, so okay. :B

FOR NOW

I like how most of this blog is irrelevant to the title. :rainbowwild:

I did the same thing with my wife about a year ago. She's not a huge fan, but she enjoys it and the references I make to the show.
