    Return

I have come back once again.
I have another story coming up in the future.
After all of the knowledge gained from the first three seasons, I can craft together another story.
Wish me luck on my next story to boost the story.

Note: Because of how long it has been since I last wrote a fanfic.
The new one will not be in canon with the previous ones.

    Random Facts

These are just going to be little pieces of info from the fics and from behind the scenes.

Random Fact #4533: Most of the chapter, "Ponimonium Plains" was modeled after the song by Nightwish, "The Poet and the Pendulum". This is seen after the conversation with Discord's ghost. This is based off the model of the song structure and tone, not the length of the song.

The Autism Speech of Derpy Hooves · 1:29pm Mar 30th, 2012

>> April is the month of Autism Awareness. But, what is autism? Back in older times, people didn't know what autism was or that it even existed. And since the 1980s, the number of people with autism has exponentially increased due to newer medical practices. In general, autism affects the brain by altering the way the nerves and synapses connect and organize. Plus, autism is a spectrum of disorders, so no two people have the exact same symptoms.
>> Many people would say that it is a disease that needs to be cured due to the disorder hindering communication and social skills and showing repetitive behaviors among other symptoms. Those that have a higher than normal risk for autism are male children, those with sibling that have autism, and people related to those with certain other types of mental disorders. However, Pharmacotherapy in autism spectrum disorders lacks a solid, reliable neurobiological basis and at present it is directed at the so-called associated behavioral symptoms, with limited relevance to core symptoms.
>> Also, making a cure for autism is a very controversial issue. One side says that it is best for society, the other says its unnecessary and unethical and in addition, society as a whole do not know the problems that surround autism and tend to ignore them. In turn, this would make matters worse.
>> And we have Asperger's Syndrome which is also on the spectrum. I have Asperger's Syndrome, with this, and this could apply to the other autistics, have talents that far exceed normal levels like for example: excellent rote memory. They don't generally give up or let fear stand in the way of their ambitions. Their intense pre-occuptaion can lead them to great things in life.
>> Many famous people had Asperger's: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Michelanglo, Issac Newton, Albert Einstein, Bobby Fischer (a world chess champion), Satoshi Tajiri (the creator of the Pokemon series). All these famous individuals and more have Asperger's.
>> Only treatment that needs to be done is so these autistic people can function in a neuro-typical society. However, we must learn to show neuro-diversity and show compassion to these individuals that have a place in society. Autism is just a variation of mental structure not a disease that needs to be cured.
>> I may be a ditzy blonde in canon with the show and have no autistic traits whatsoever. But I can’t just sit around and let these people be ignored. Every life regardless of race, gender, age or mental structure is a special gift, and it should not be taken for granted. I would support the Autistic Rights Movement because I believe these people should be given a chance to shine. They could be one of the key things needed for a better and brighter future.
