The Price of Loyalty Journal #3 New Publish Date & Preview · 1:50am Jun 25th, 2013
Okay guys, so I had to twist some arms, nag some peeps, and bribe some senators, but I managed to get a couple proofreaders to start working on The Price of Loyalty.
Now, I want to let you all know that Journal 3 is officially finished, it's done and ready to publish right now, but the reason for the delay is because I want to get Journal #1 and Journal #2 to their best possible form so that when I publish Journal 3, more readers might be attracted to the story. I also need a good date and time to do it so I can get the most attention for the story. This is a major opportunity for me when I get this chapter published with the new cover art, new description, and everything that'd been updated about the story since it was first published, and I want to see it get the best possible chance in the world to get a following.
So, I've booked the new Publish Date for Journal #3 of The Price of Loyalty for Friday, June 28th. To make up for the delay, and to reward you guys for all of your patience, I offer you a sneak peek from an intense stand-off scene about 2/3rds of the way through the upcoming chapter featuring one of the new characters in the story, Peace Walker, and another glimpse at the state of the Lunar Confederacy and the desperation therein:
For followers of the story since the original A Tale of Two Nations, you'll notice this is a brand new scene new to The Price of Loyalty that I'm sure might draw your interest.
One more note. If I can't get Journals 1 and 2 fixed up by then, I WILL publish the chapter regardless. To my readers of the story, you've been very patient and I don't want to have to make you wait any longer than necessary to read the next chapter I have to offer in this grand tale I'm weaving.
As for Journal #4, I will try to get that done as soon as possible. There is a near-finished version complete right now, but it still needs a bit of editing and tweaking to help it flow a little better. It should be released within weeks if I can find time from my TECS duties and situations irl.
That's all I have for you guys today, and I hope you enjoy the Preview. Feel free to leave comments on what you think of it, and I hope you can't wait to read the next chapter of Ashen's story.
Thanks guys!
