A Different Kind of Music… progress update!

Well hello everyone!

So as you might have noticed I haven't been updating A Different Kind of Music… lately. I am sorry to say that is my fault completely, I think I have written something along the lines of 15 000 words that more or less amounted to absolutely nothing. I have had a bit of a rough time IRL lately and it began to show through in the story, which is something I absolutely didn't want. A Different Kind of Music… is supposed to be a romance/slice of life with a bit of a laugh thrown in every now and then. And I realized what I had written was turning the story dark, gritty and heading down an even darker path. It was easy to see just how much my troubles and irritation at the moment I wrote it was influencing the plot. It was not at all were a wanted the story to go.

Although this didn't stop me from trying to fix what I had already written since it was quite a bit, which of course didn't work, even with the assistance of Fax-Sama was I able to salvage it. But I still wouldn't accept it until Syvvak smack me upon my head when I sent him the draft. Wondering what the hell kind of joke I was trying to pull, and where the real next chapter was, because the crap I had sent him sure wasn't up to my normal standard. Finally I crawled to the cross and scrapped everything I had written so far. So that's where I am right now, I'm going to sit down now that my life is back on track and try again. Also not going to publish the next chapter until it's ready and not a second before. In other words I have no idea when the next chapter will come, but hopefully when it comes it will be on par with what I've already written.

I hope you will bear with me through this little difficulty; I would much rather post good chapters, then fast chapters.
