A story I've been thinking about for a while. This is the story description. Wha'dya think?
It's not strange to see something in the skies above Equestria. Clouds, perhaps, and of course numerous pegasi and their floating city. Often you could catch a glimpse of a passing dirigible or hot-air balloon. But when this "something" is a massive metal airship that came from the stars, then yes, it is strange. The commanding officer of this monstrous flagship strikes up negotiations with the courts of Celestia and Luna, claiming that he had only three other capital ships under his command. Declaring that he wants only peaceful trade, little disagreement exists at first between the native ponies and the tall bipeds the crew the warships. But suspicion and distrust grows, especially when a fleet of starships is found hiding behind the moon. One wonders how long relations can last with a hopelessly overpowering force.
