Fanfiction Update: Character Backgrounds

Working on character backgrounds for my fanfic/headcanon project, starting with the families of Ditzy Doo and Daring Do. This is still very much a work in progress so there's not a lot of details, but I'll hopefully iron out everything soon.

First of all, Ditzy Doo's full name is Ditzella Bright Eyes Doo, with Ditzy Doo and Derpy Hooves being her nicknames. She is the older sister of Dinkella “Dinky” Doo and the twin sister of Daphne “Sparkler” Doo. Before anyone asks, yes, it is the Doo tradition to use alliteration and Ds when naming their daughters. While Ditzy may act, well, ditzy, she's actually a super-genius, capable of giving Twilight Sparkle a run for her money at the very least, but she doesn't like bragging or showing off, and she lives a simple life because she wants Ponies to like her for herself, not her brains.

Next up is Daring Do. Her full name and title is Dr. Darling “Daring” Do Jr. (named herself after her pet F1 Savannah, she had a lot of good memories of that cat), and she is Ditzy Doo's aunt, and author of the Daring Do series (still thinking up a pen-name for her, but I'm open to suggestions). Daring Do's books are actually based on her own adventures, albeit exaggerated to a degree without making it seem completely unbelievable.
Daring Do has a daughter, Dr. Darling Do III, Double Dare to her friends (because she's looks exactly like her mother when she was her age). Double Dare is an archaeologist just like her mother and grandmother and Daring couldn't be happier, but what Daring doesn't know is that Double Dare moonlights as a free-lance adventurer-for-hire (if Daring Do is an expy of Indiana Jones, then Double Dare could be consider an expy of Lara Croft (of Tomb Raider fame, pre-remake of course), with a bit of Nathan Drake (of Uncharted fame) thrown in for spice and Link (of Legend of Zelda fame) to better fit into the setting), something Daring frowns upon, considering such Ponies nothing more than glorified grave-robbers.

That's all I got except for a little bit for Octavia Melody: she may be a Canterlot citizen, and while her usual accent may indicate she's from Canterlot or the Trottingham upper classes, she's actually from a Shettish (MLP equivelant of Scottish, as in Shetland pony) colony near the mountains close to Equestria's northeasternmost borders, and she'll slip back into her natural Shettish accent if she gets really angry (and considering who her room-mate/best friend is, that happens quite a lot) and will even start up a string of curses that would make a sailor blush with shame if she gets "Rapidash Twilight" angry (only happened once to Vinyl, and our favorite DJ is Tartarus-bent on keeping it that way).
