Good news? Kind of? · 1:33am Jun 10th, 2013
Okay so, honestly this news isn't entirely good to me, because I've been trying to do this thing for like, two years, but the church mission I was going to go on, that would take two years, and that would be the only thing that could majorly delay my stories now that I'm actually writing regularly (even though my 1k a day turned to 500 a day because now I can only really write during my lunch at work) has fallen apart. The Family History mission I was hoping to go on has responded saying that they have too many people, and I'm one of the few they're just permanently saying no to to make room for everyone else.
So, ya'know, one slight internal crisis as I fight against a rising feeling of being a failure or whatever for not being good enough to serve the mission or whatever, before my logic took control and explained to me how this doesn't mean I'm a failure or anything and I need to focus on the positives, and all that stuff.
Once my internal crisis passed, I realized this means that, one of the positives aside from now being able to start college and move out to one of my best friend's house, is that mah stories won't be going through any hiatus if I have anything to say about it, so yeah, that's awesome I suppose.
Honestly the lack of a mission is STILL kind of bumming me out, but Imma try to stay positive, and I hope you all are excited to hear that my stories won't be entering any random two year long break of no updates.
Speaking of updates. I'm planning on, from now on, updating ALL of my stories on the last Saturday of every month. I'll write at LEAST 500 words a day, divided amongst my various pony fanfics and original stories, and on the last Saturday, I'll publish the finished chapters. I already got the first chapter to my previously mentioned new comedy fanfic finished, and I'm almost at 5k for I Ran My Car Into Twilight's House. There's a third story I haven't published that's more of a slice of life story based on my friends' and I's OCs, and the CYOA story, while not actually having much written for it at all that hasn't been published yet, will be updating at the end of the month to, all the way up to the end of the first battle You will go through.
SO YEAH! There ya have it: No more hiatuses, stories updating every month (assuming I can STICK TO THE TABLE FLIPPING SCHEDULE) and two new stories being released SOON!
Thanks for reading, have a great day!
