There are so many of them!
There's been a delay in writing chapter three because I've finally had to take the time to stop making things up as I go and figure out how I'm going to structure the rest of this story. The difficult thing is that I want to feature all of the mane six and Dr. Colgate, but giving them all something to do in each chapter is very difficult.
The show itself glosses over this fact all the time. It simply cuts or find excuses to remove characters' parts from an episode to keep things more simple. (See: stuff like narrowing down the mane six in Dragon Quest from everyone to just Twi, Rarity, and Rainbow). MLP:FiM gets away with this by being a visual work and by having a quick, breezy pace.
I write in a way that's similarly paced with the TV show, but in writing, it's a lot more noticeable when characters are *there* but not doing anything (to me, anyway. It actually makes as much sense that the opposite is true).
Anyway, I figured out how to resolve this, and accordingly, I've changed the title of Chapter 3 (as announced at the end of Chapter 2) to "Rainbow Dash Brushes With Death." Look forward to it!
On a related note, I am hoping to do a one-shot sometime soon called Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares: Equestria. That should be a ton of fun.
