    Two years!

    Right.

Time keeps passing for some reason. I really can't understand why! Isn't there a pause button for life somewhere?

I can swear I saw it, but it seems to have vanished again.

Right, anyway. I need to actually sit down and write up part two of Snowbound. That is a priority, believe it or not. I just tend to become distracted. A lot.

    Slowly going forward

Progress with Chapter 2 of Snowbound is slow going, but I'll get there in the end.

I'm not actually surprised at the slow progress. I have a complete outline for the story, but I'm at a character building phase where Dash and Edward is just... Talking.

    No Luck Pinkie

    Hiya reader,

I'm sorry to say that there's been no progress on the Pinkie Pie fic. I really, really have a hard time envisioning Pinkie Pie and Romance!

    But here's some good news:
Instead of writing on that fic, I have written 6000 words on a Rainbow Dash clopfic. It's... Around half done, maybe 33%. Either way, it's going to be my longest story so far.

    Progress?

So, it's been a while since the last update.

To be frank, progress have been slow. Writing about Pinkie Pie is a challenge to be sure, and I'm still only at around 1400 words, but I'll get to the goal eventually.

    Story begun

Alright, I've decided on my next project.

I'm going to make an attempt at writing about Pinkie Pie. In fact, I've got two pages of text done already, but goodness, I have no idea if I portray her well or not.

Progress with Chapter 2 of Snowbound is slow going, but I'll get there in the end.

I'm not actually surprised at the slow progress. I have a complete outline for the story, but I'm at a character building phase where Dash and Edward is just... Talking.

The problem is, there's no real goal for the talking, other than filling up space/time. I want to keep a little of it, to show the progress of time and how emotions develop, but it's tricky. Too much and the pacing will be seriously hurt, but too little and it comes off as shallow.

One thing I always try to keep in mind when I'm dealing with conversations, is to imagine what goal each character have with it. But as I wrote, this time it's tricky.

But, I'm going to use my brute force attack against the problem. That is: Write the first thing that comes to mind until I'm through, and then clean up later on.

Either way, until next time!
