Ha, well.... where to begin? Oh yeah, that fic that I'm writing. I've recently been very bipolar about it. Some days I just want to throw in the towel, and others I want to try and push through this slump., which is very severe. The gist that you should be getting is that so far, 2 months= 3000 words. And I've got another section and a half to write.
You know, when authors use Real Life or possibly School as an excuse for a late chapter, I just laugh. "Ha!" I say. "That's just a poor excuse that lazy people use!" Well, I finally know the feeling. And it sucks. And when I actually have free time, I would much rather read other people's work than write my own. Because honestly, I do not have fun writing my fic. They say that you're supposed to, but I'm just not feeling it, you know what I mean? But every time I get on FIMFiction, I see my story there, with its 13 trackers, and it drives a stake of guilt through my heart. Because while 13 is a measly little number, it's still 13 living, breathing human beings that took the time and interest to hit that track button, and I like to imagine that at least a few of them would be the teensiest bit disappointed if I didn't continue the story.
So I push on, into the dark unknown! Quite literally. I've only planned ahead maybe a chapter or two. No idea where this thing is going. I only hope that wherever it IS going, it someday gets there. Llama out.
(Wow! If only I could write fan fiction like I do blog posts about fan fiction!)

My heart! It swells joy, and pride in myself and my work! The secrets of the universe have been laid bare before previously-blind eyes, and Oh! what wonders it holds!
